This single-family residence was built in 2009 in Rossland, British Columbia and utilized an enhanced insulation envelope which allowed the large 3800 sq.ft. of living space to be heated entirely with a small electric boiler (made in Canada!) feeding hydronic in floors loops. The enveloppe effective insulation values were double those prescribed in the building code at the time.
